Outback Australia

Tourists always hear the phrase “Australia Outback” and they are curious as to what and where it is. So just what and where exactly Australia Outback is?
Australia Outback is the generic term for the remote areas of the country. It may refer to any land that is outside the cities or any of its urban areas. However it should not be confused with the term “The Bush”, which refers to populated wooded areas—something between a forest and a shrub land. The bush is still comfortable accessible and “livable” by standards of city-dwellers. Outback on the other hand, is somewhere more remote and less inhabited than “The Bush”. Australia Outback is where you can find the country’s rich wildlife. Here’s where you can frolic with the kangaroos, dingos, donkeys, and the Australian feral camels.

Interesting species of lizards and snakes can also be found in these areas. During cold season, these reptiles can be found basking in the sun above the ground and hibernating underground during hot summer days.
